Nicosia, Hilton Park, Wedding

As I mentioned earlier I arrived at Hilton Park at 17:00 on the 18/June/11. At the start I just had to place blue LED Bars under some decorations at the cocktail party. Afterwards a band was going to be set in the main ball room, a Drummer, a Keyboard player, a female singer and a guitar player accompanied by mpouzouki player. Eight lights were divided on two stands that were placed on each side of the band facing the dance floor, and two loudspeakers were also placed on stands facing the guests. The band was set and the sound check was done at 20:00 o'clock. The guests started coming at 21:00 the band finished playing at 2:00 in the morning and was replaced by a DJ. I had help during the setting and packing of the equipment but I was alone during the event. This didn't give me the chance to take more pictures. And to say the whole truth I had so much in my head with checking for any problems in the band and doing corrections that I forgot to take any. After the band finished I had to help them pack everything quickly so I could set up the DJ and his equipment. Everything was packed and delivered to the warehouse at 5:45 in the morning. 

Agia Napa, Chameleon Club, The Charlatans

We arrived at the same location at 10:00 17/June/11 in the morning and almost everything on the the stage was repositioned or replaced. Everything was done and the first sound check was established at 16:00 in the afternoon. The most difficult part was the massive 260KG piano that we had to place on the stage. As the day before the gig started at 12:30 and finished at 4:00 in the morning. Everything was packed and loaded in the vans by 7:00 in the morning. Me and my boss did a couple of stops to deliver some gear before we went home for some sleep. We delivered two mackie sub woofers at a beach party that was taking place at Makronisos Beach at Agia Napa. Next stop was the delivery of two mackie Loudspeakers at a pool party at the Village Paliometoxo at Nicosia district. The last stop was the drop off of a CD player at Hilton Park for a Zumba dancing event. Everything was delivered and we went home at 10:00 o'clock. I went straight to bed after a bath because I had to another job the same day at 5:00 in the afternoon.

Agia Napa, Chameleon Club, The Enemy

This was an english band playing at the Chameleon Club. On the 16/June/11 at 06:00 in the morning we loaded the gear and went to Agia Napa, as we arrived and unloaded everything we were waiting for the wooden platform as you can see to be build so we could start setting up the stage, lights and everything else. Everything was complete and the first sound check took place at about 20:00 o'clock. The concert started at 12:30 and ended at 4:00 in the morning. The equipment and everything was left there because the next day was another gig from another english band and most of the equipment would be reused and everything else that wasn't wanted would be packed. We left for Nicosia and arrived at about 5:20.

Limassol, Garden Theater, Jimmys Panousis

The same performer was doing the same show at the city of Limassol this time. On the 09/June/11 we parked the vans at the warehouse on the early hours and went to sleep. We woke up a couple of hours later at 08:00 o'clock and took off. Both of the vans started but the van I was in had a tyre problem as you can see on the pictures. So the second van had to go to the destination unload and then come back for us so we could load our van. We arrived at the Garden theater at about 13:00 o'clock on the 10/June/11. Everyone was in a great hurry due to our tyre delay. Everything was installed, finished and covered at 06:30 o'clock in the morning. We arrived back to nicosia at about 07:30 o'clock in the morning and went to bed. We arrived at Limassol the next day on the 11th at 16:00 o'clock in the afternoon for the sound check. everything went well and this time and I was able to take a couple of pictures as my post was on the front of house desk. Everything was packed and delivered to the warehouse at about 05:00 - 06:00 o'clock.

Nicosia, Lakatamia Amphitheater, Jimmys Panousis

 

We completed the whole event at the capital city of Cyprus, Nicosia on the 08/June/11 From 10:00 in the morning till 4:00 in the early morning and the next day 09/June/11 the concert was established and we were there from 16:00 in the afternoon for the sound check. The event started at 21:30 and ended at 1:45, we had everything packed and delivered to the warehouse by 5:30 in the morning. No pictures were taken during the concert, or the deconstruction of the event due to the lack of staff, therefore no time could be wasted taking pictures. Overcoming the staff problem on the next concert by the same artist in the city of Limassol I was able to take pictures during the event and the deconstruction of it.
